Cerberus

Cerberus is a level 318 hellhound boss. You must have 91 Slayer and be on a Hellhound task to kill her. Cerberus will use all combat styles while you are fighting her. It is recommended to use soul split as your prayer.

The only effective weapon to kill Cerberus with is a Zamorakian Hasta. If you choose to use any other weapon, you will face a huge damage reduction.

Cerberus has three special attacks that she may use under certain circumstances:

She attacks in quick succession with magic followed by ranged and melee. She will do this at the start of every fight and approximately every 30 seconds afterwards.

She spits three balls of fire — indicated by her growling — on the ground, one at the player and two in the general area. Standing on the fire will deal damage on the initial landing of the fire, and once again when it disappears. She will do this at random when below 3/4 health. Once you see the "GRRRRR" message, move to a different spot to avoid the damage.

She summons three souls — indicated by her howling — and attack the player with each combat style. She may do this approximately every 30 seconds.

Inventory

Aura

Using Auras makes trips last longer. This making them very important to use as you have to pay per instance to fight Cerberus.

Berserker - Your melee accuracy is now increased by 10% outside of Duel Arena.

Leecher - You will now absorb 20% of the damage inflicted against monster to your life.

Devotion - You will now absorb 10% of the damage inflicted against monster to your prayer points.

Knock out - Now your accuracy will be boosted by 50% against monsters with less than 10% of HP.

Regeneration - Your hitpoints will rengenerate 50% faster. This aura will not work in the Duel Arena.

Reverance - Prayer potion dose will now restore 5% more points and prayer drain is reduced by 5%.

It's best to use the auras before entering Cerberus's room, while you are at the bank, to best use your inventory space. Be very mindful which auras you are using if you are not able to use all of these auras, as it can change your inventory. Ie. if you don't use an aura that will help restore your prayer points, you will need to bring a potion to restore your prayer points.

This inventory is based off using all of the auras:

Keep in mind the Charming imp and Ring of Wealth can be swapped out for an additional Overload potion or food. From the combination of the aura, Leecher, and Soul split prayer, you will not need to eat food much. That is why there are open inventory spots for loots. Please adjust your inventory accordingly.

Familiar

Bunyip or Yak is recommended for extended trips. Trips will very depending on how many auras are used, or gear. Bunyip would be recommended if using a lot of auras, yak is recommended if you are not using many auras.
