The Pernix Body is a piece of ranged armour worn in the torso slot. It requires 80 defence and 80 hitpoints to wear. It is one of the most powerful ranged helmets in game both offensively and defencively. The Pernix Body was made difficult to obtain along with the Pernix Cowl and Pernix Chaps. Pernix equipment is always an excellent choice to wear if you go bossing and general PvM due to their unique ability to boost the wearer's health, the Pernix Body will allow the wearer to go 20 hitpoints above their hitpoint level.
Wearing any piece of the Pernix set will provide tolerance to all minions at all God-Wars locations.
Getting Pernix
There are two ways to obtain the Pernix Body. These are Donating, and killing Nex.
Killing Nex
Nex is an incredibily difficult boss to kill and as such, was provided an amazing drop table to reward players who can manage to kill her. The most notable drops of course being the Nex armour pieces. Each piece, including the Pernix Body has about a 1/200 chance to be received as a drop.
Donating for Pernix
You can buy the Pernix set from 'Daisies' the premium points store. The entire set costs 40,000 premium points plus a little extra depending on how much of the stock is left. You can obtain premium points through donating and getting vote streaks.
