The Grim Reaper is much kinder than he appears. He runs a service that allows you to buy back your untradable items, if you have lost them upon dying. His service uses a unique currency called soul points.

Location

The Grim Reaper is located in two different places in Etherum. These are:

  • South of bank in Draynor
  • North east of the bank in Edgeville

Recover Untradable Items

If you have any untradable items lost from death, the Reaper will show you them along with the cost to recover each item. The cost varies for each item, as well as for how many times you have recovered that item. This means the more you lose an item the more soul points it will cost to retrieve it.

If this cost is too great, you can reset the cost by spending 15,000 Premium points on a feature at the premium store.

Obtaining Soul Points

Soul points is the currency that the Grim Reaper choices to use. There are two ways of obtaining soul points. The first is by voting. Every vote you redeem will reward you with 2,500 soul points (5,000 when voting on the 1st-5th of the month).

The second way of obtaining soul points is to convert either money, or other points into the soul points.

Convertion Rate

Currency Amount per Soul Point
Coins 1,000
Premium Points 1
Participation Points 0.5 rounded down
PK Points 2

Toggle Automatic Recovery

If you talk to the Grim Reaper, you can toggle the ability to have you untradable items stay in your inventory upon death. This is very handy, but comes at a cost. Half of the points that would be used to recover those items will be taken from your account. This means every time you die with untradables you will be spending your soul points, so make sure you have enough if you want to use this option.
