Introduction

Hitpoints is an important skill. The higher you get your Hitpoints level up, the more damage you will be able to take whilst fighting monsters. Gaining experience in Hitpoints is very easy as it will automatically happen while you train you leveling up all other combat skills.

Death

Ironman

If your Hitpoints reach 0 you will die and find yourself in edgeville. All but 3 of the items you carried will be dropped to the floor where you died, so if you had anything important on you, hurry back before it disappears. However, if you are skulled then you will drop all items you carry.

Harcore Ironman

The punishment for dying on hardcore ironman is much less forgiving. If you die on this mode, not only will you lose the items that you carry, but all account progress will be reset, this includes:
- Items in your inventory
- Items in your bank
- Items you are wearing
- Items from your collection box
- Tasks/Task points
- All Experience gained

Going Above the Limit

Eating rocktails whilst you have you are at your maximum will give you an additional 10 Hitpoints.

Certain Armour's can increase your maximum above 99. These are Nex Armour's; Torva, Pernix, Virtus. Your Hitpoints level will rise up to a maximum of 149 whilst wearing any full set of these armours, and the limit can be raised futher to 159 if you eat Rocktails.

Experience Boosts

Double Exp Ring

As the name suggests, a "Double Exp Ring" will grant you twice as much exp as you would usually get in not only Hitpoints but the other combat skills to.

Weekend Bonus

Every weekend (Saturday-Sunday), all combat experience is given a 1.25x exp boost.

Bonus EXP

Although it is better to use on almost every other skill, bonus xp can be used up to train Hitpoints.

Knowledge Pool

Found in Donator Zone #1. When under the effect of this pool, you will gain double the usual experience for 10 minutes, unless you are super donator where this effect will last for 20 minutes.

The Skill cape

To obtain the Skill cape you must talk to the Wise Old Man. He is located at his home in Draynor.

Each cape costs 150K expect the Max cape which costs 10M. The Hitpoints cape gives no bonus to any stats.
