Introduction

Fishing is a gathering skill which involves catching fish. Caught fish may be cooked through the Cooking skill to create food which may be used to regain health during combat.

Starting Off

To start off fishing you will need to buy the correct fishing equipment, specific to the type of fishing spot (each fishing spot allows you to get a different type of fish) you wish to use. All of the equipment that you may need can be bought from fishing shops. The table below shows which equipment you need to use to catch a certain fish - and also, some info about the fishes.

Fishing Shops

There are two fishing stores in Grinderscape, one in Catherby and the other one in Karamja.

Fishing Areas

There are currently two areas to train up fishing: Catherby and Karamja.

• Catherby

To get to Catherby, talk to the Fishing Master at South Neitznot and ask him to teleport you to Catherby.

To get to Karamja, go to the Skill Training Teleports and teleport to Karamja.
