Christmas event 2023

The 2023 Christmas event started on the 21st of December. The event hasa few differant stages and is very fun to work through and complete, with some very luxorious rewards once completed. This guide will run through the event step by step, helping players complete it with as much fun as possible.

Getting Started

To start the event, players must enter the Christmas Cupboard. This cupboard is located next to Edgeville bank at ::home

Once through the cupboard you enter Santa's homeland.

Now you must head over and talk with Santa to officially start the Christmas event. Enjoy!

Santa will talk you through his troubles and ask for your help in sorting the problems and saving Christmas.

Stopping The Imps

The first step in saving Christmas is to stop the imps from stealing gifts and giving them to the wrong children. This step can do done by gathering snowballs from the piles of snow located in random locations on the ground. Once you have collected a full inventory of snowballs you can now build the three snowmen needed to block the imps in. All you need to do is now click on the three small piles in the corner until they are complete snowmen. Keep in mind, this will require 450 snowballs (150 per snowman)

Once completed, Santa will ask to speak with you once again.

Exchanging Presents

The second step in saving christmas is to exchange the correct presents with the incorrect presents that the imps gave the children. After speaking with Santa, he will give you a list with 7 different locations on. It is now your job to find the children in these locations and exchange the presents.

Before heading off to find the children you will quickly need to grab 7 presents from Santa's Sleigh.

Ardougne

The first child can be found West of Ardougne. Follow the west path and you will find the child next to the shop assistant. Talk to the child to exchange the presents.

Camelot

The second child can be found West of Camelot Castle. Head over to the woodcutting area and you will find a small house with a ladder. Climb the ladder and you will find the second child upstairs.

Draynor

The third child can be found just North-East of the Draynor market.

Falador

The fourth child can be found at the Drarven mining guild entrence in Falador.

Karamja

The fifth child can be found just West of the Karamja teleport near the bar.

Al Kharid

The sixth child can be found North-East of the Al Kharid teleport, close to the Kalphites entrance.

Lumbridge

The seventh and last child can be found just North of Lumbridge castle.

Once finished, please head over and talk with Santa.

Saving The Children

After talking with Santa, he will give you some earings and a teleport device. Wear the earings to turn yourself into a child and then operate the teleportation device.

The first thing you will need to do is then talk with Anti-Santa, He will tell you that he wants food. You will need to talk to the children to find out what food he wants. They will tell you that its Biscuits and Milk. You will also be told to look inn some food sacks to find the correct food items.

You will need to keep searching until you find some Biscuits and some Milk. You then need to give these to Anti-Santa and he will tell you that he wants more. Talk to the children once again and they will tell you to look in the Resource sack to find a restless sleep potion. You will need to search the food sacks for Biscuits and Milk and then the Recource sacks for the restless sleep potion. Pour the potion into the Milk.

Now that Anti-Santa is asleep you can open the locked chest that is next to him. You will need a key which can be found in the Resource sacks.

Within the chest you will find a Strange device.

This device can be used on the exit portal and will let all the children escape.

Talk to santa once this step is complete.

Giving Out Presents

Santa will give you one last list of 5 locations, these are locations for 5 more children who never recieved any presents.

This time you can only take 1 present at a time.

Pollnivleach

The first child can be found directly east of the Pollnivneach teleport.

Varrock

The second child can be found South-East of Varrock, next to the cabbage patch.

Relleka

The third child can be found South of Relekka.

Yanille

The fourth child can be found in the upstairs bedroom of a building just North of the Yanille teleport.

Canifs

The fifth and last child can be found in a building just North of the Canifs teleport.

Decorations

The final step in the Christmas event is to locate and place all the decorations in Santa's homeland. You will be given an orb which when rubbed will tell you where you need to go to find the correct location. You will need to pick up some decorations from the blue box.

Rubbing the orb will bring up a following message.

Head in the direction stated and keep rubbing the orb until a green message shows up.

You can then place the decoration and head back to the box to do some more. There is around 20 decorations to place.

Once you have placed all the decorations Santa will congratulate you on completing the event.

You can now spend your Christmas points in the shop by right clicking santa.

Snowball Battles

To earn extra christmas points to spend at the shop, you can enter snowball battles. These can be done without completing the event itself. To enter these battles, you will need to right click on the cupboard used to get to santa and then click "Snowbattles".

This is a completely safe minigame, meaning not items are lost here. You can either battle against other players or battle against the NPC.

To play the minigame you must talk to the Snowball Champion and choose either PVM or PVP.

Once you have selected your option, the game will start. You need to rub the snowglobe for snow to appear. 

Once this is done you will recieve a random amount of 4 different coloured snowballs. Each snowball will give different benefits. Use upto 10 of each on your snowman for a better chance of winning. You need to win the battle to recieve any points.

Yellow = Absorption

Red = Damage

Blue = Life

Green = Speed
