Tormented Demons

The Tormented Demons are one of the strongest hitting monsters within Etherum. Not only can they hit incredibly high with all three attack styles, they also have a large amount of hit points so it can take a while to get the kill. Using magic is the best option as you can stand away from them avoiding the high hitting melee attacks and if using blood barrage, you will be getting healed as you deal damage. Using melee will almost certainly get you killed.

Fighting Strategy

The best strategy to killing the Tormented Demons is also very simple and requires little effort. All you have to do is use the protection from magic spells while standing out of reach of the Tormented Demons melee attack. Since you will be using blood barrage you will be healed as you deal damage, combining this with the automatic healing of a bunyip will greatly reduce the risk of dying and you will most likely be getting healed faster than you will be taking damage.
Just beware that you will not be avoiding all damage as the Tormented Demons will still hit very high, quite often with their ranged attacks which will still put even the best geared player in risk of dying.

The tormented demon switches the Protection Prayer every 32 damage received and the shield will absorb 75% of received damage, in order to remove the shield, player must inflict a damage from the 'Darklight sword', the sword is a reward from crystal chest.

The Tormented Demon switches the attack type every 15 seconds.

Gear and Inventory Set-Up

For most bosses, damage-per-second (DPS) is more important than defense because it helps you to maximize kills per hour. Here, though, defense is much more important. As the following section describes, each time you access this boss, you are essentially spending 110m. Therefore, your goal should be to maximize the number of kills you can get per trip, rather than maximizing the speed of those kills.

Here is the best gear to use in each gear slot:

Head: Battle-Mage Hood > Trickster Hood > Virtus Mask > Farseer Helm

Torso: Battle-Mage Top > Trickster Top > Virtus Top > Infinity Top

Legs: Battle-Mage Robe Legs > Trickster Robe Legs > Virtus Legs > Infinity Robe Legs

Gloves: Barrows Gloves > Trickster Gloves > Battle-Mage Gloves > Infinity Gloves

Boots: Ragefire Boots > Infinity Boots > Trickster Boots > Battle-Mage Boots

Amulet: Arcane Stream Necklace > Arcane Blast Necklace > Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Glory

Ring: Seers' Ring (i) > Onyx Ring (i) > Seers' Ring

Cape: Completionist Cape > God Cape > Max Cape > Ardougne Cloak > TokHaar-Kal (Kiln Cape)

Offhand: Arcane Spirit Shield > Divine Spirit Shield > Elysian Spirit Shield > Spectral Spirit Shield > Farseer Kiteshield

Weapon: Staff of Light > Master Wand > Ancient Staff

Note: There is no difference between Celestial Armour and Celestial Armor.

Drops

The main reason to visit the Tormented Demons are to try your luck for the very valuable dragon claw drop if you want to make a huge bit of money. However, there are a lot of other unique items unfortunately they are not worth a lot. There is also a very rare chance to get a Tormented Demon pet upon killing this boss.
