Hunter

Hunter is a skill where players catch different types of animals. This skill requires certain items in order to catch the animals. Where and how to get them will be explained below. Hunter is the newest skill in Etherum and was released on August 2, 2019.

Butterfly Net: can be used to catch butterflies and implings (alongside a butterfly and impling jar) Butterfly Jar: can be used to catch butterflies - after catching a butterfly, it will automatically be stored in the jar. Impling Jar: can be used to catch implings - after catching an impling, it will automatically be stored in the jar. Magic Box: can be used to catch imps. Bird Snare: used to catch birds. Box Trap: can be used to catch ferrets, chincompas, pawyas and grenwalls. Falconer's Glove: can be used to catch kebbits. Rabbit Snare: can be used to catch kebbits. Rope and Small Fishing Net: can be used to catch lizards and salamanders.

Hunter locations

All Hunter locations can be teleported to. There are two ways to open the Hunter teleport interface:

Click on the Hunter icon in the skilling tab.

Open the teleport menu (by clicking on the world map or by pressing CTRL + T) > Skilling > Hunter - Training Spots

Traps

As players level up the Hunter skill, they will be able able to lay more traps at the same time. When training Hunter in the wilderness, players will be able to deploy one extra trap.

	Birds can be caught by placing a bird snare on the ground. The following items are rewarded when catching the birds and can also be used as bait: Arway seed Erzile seed Kalferberry seed Lergberry seed Ugune seed Samaden seed

	Butterflies can be caught by equiping a (magic) butterfly net and having an empty butterfly jar in your inventory. Catching butterflies with a magic butterfly net will give you a 20% XP boost. Butterflies don't reward anything. They are recommended to train your early levels, as they can be caught fast and give decent XP.

Rabbits and Ferrets

	Rabbits can be caught by laying a rabbit snare on the ground. They can be baited by using a Ferret on the trap. They will always reward Raw rabbit and can reward Rabbit foot.

	Ferrets can be caught by laying a box trap on the ground. These creatures can't be lured by any baits. They will always drop a Ferret.

Lizards and Salamanders

	Swamp Lizards and Salamanders can be caught by setting a net trap on a tree. A rope and small fishing net are required to set a net trap requires. Swamp Lizards and Salamanders reward and can be baited with the following items: Guam tar (Swamp Lizards) Marrentill tar (Orange Salamanders) Tarromin tar (Red Salamanders) Harralander tar (Black Salamanders)

	Jump over the stile to enter the kebbit area. Be aware this jump will hurt you, so make sure your health is higher than 10. Kebbits can be caught by wearing a Falconer's Glove. Click on a kebbit to let your falcon catch the kebbit. Make sure to retrieve your falcon within 15 seconds or your will leave and you will not be able to get the XP for catching a kebbit. Kebbits will always reward Kebbit bolts.

	Chinchompas can be caught by laying a box trap on the ground. Carnivorous and Black Chinchompas can be baited with Spicy Tomato. Black Chinchompas can reward Perfect Dragon Scales and depending on the type, they will always reward: Chinchompa Red Chinchompa Black Chinchompa

Pawyas and Grenwalls

	Pawyas can be caught by laying a box trap on the ground. These hunter creatures give the highest experience out of all the hunter creatures and are donator only. They can only be caught by using Papaya fruit on the box trap. Pawyas will always reward Raw pawya meat and can also reward Papaya fruit.

	Grenwalls can be caught by laying a box trap on the ground. They can only be caught by using Raw pawya meat as bait on the box trap. Grenwalls will always reward Grenwall spikes and can reward the following items: Grimy irit Grimy ranarr Grimy kwuarm Grimy avantoe Grimy cadantine Grimy dwarf weed

Imps

	Implings can be caught by equiping a (magic) butterfly net and having an empty impling jar in your inventory. Catching implings with a magic butterfly net will give you a 20% XP boost. Implings will always reward an impling jar with the impling you caught. The impling drop table is located here.

Useful Items and Boosts

N/A	Double Exp Weekend	All combat experience is doubled.	Play during the weekend (Saturday/Sunday).

Hunter Skill Cape

When you reach level 99 in the Hunter skill, you can talk to the Wise Old Man at home to obtain the skill cape. He is located at home, in the building north of the bank.

The skillcape costs 30 million coins and comes with a matching hood. Both the Hunter cape and hood give +9 bonus to all defense stats.

When you reach 200m experience in the Hunter skill you will also unlock the ability to buy the Master Hunter Cape. It is exactly the same as the normal skill cape. However, you can adjust the trim colour to whatever you like. This master skillcape costs 80 million coins.
