Wilderness

The Wilderness, sometimes referred to as Wildy or Wild, is a large and dangerous area. Take care when entering the Wilderness, as other players are able to attack you here.

The Wilderness ranges from level 1 up to level 56. The more you head north, the higher the level will go. This level controls who can attack who in the Wilderness. If you are in level 10 Wilderness for example, players 10 levels higher, and 10 levels lower will be able to attack you.

You cannot teleport directly out of the Wilderness unless you are below level 20 Wilderness. However, a charged Amulet of glory will allow teleports from level 30 and below.

Getting There

As the Wilderness is such a large place, there are many different options for getting there.

Edgeville

The Wilderness is located directly north of Edgeville. This is the most popular area for pk'ers to fight, due to the ability to quickly return back after dying.

Teleports

Click on the world map icon in the top right corner of the screen.

From here select 'Player killing' as the category, and then select the destination of your choice.

Two more options can be found in the 'Bosses' section of the teleport menu

Notable Features

Fishing

The Bandit Camp located in the Wilderness is the only place where you can catch raw karambwans. These give the most amount of Fishing and Cooking experience of anything in the game, so they are very valuable. The Bandit Camp is also the only place where non-donors can catch raw rocktails.

Rune Rock

The only area where non-donators can mine rune ore is located in the Wilderness. This rock is located north-east of the King Black Dragon's Lair. If you are Mining here be careful as Player Killers may come to kill you.
