Wintertodt
Wintertodt is a minigame like boss which can be defeated in a team or solo. It is currently the only skilling boss ingame and is not defeated by combat. To defeat Wintertodt players must add Bruma kindlings or Bruma roots to brazziers whilst keeping the Pyromancers alive. Dying in here is unsafe and the same rules of items lost on death apply here. Hardcore Ironman who are to die in Wintertodt will lose their Hardcore status. The image below shows all the important spots of Wintertodt.
- The Bruma roots are used to gather Bruma roots.
- The Brazier is where you can add the Bruma roots and Bruma kindlings to.
- The Sprouting roots is where you can optain Bruma herbs.
- The item crates is where you can get all the tools required for Wintertodt.
How to get to Wintertodt
To get to Wintertodt open your teleport menu, choose Bosses and click on Wintertodt.
To the Northeast there is a bank where you grab the items needed to defeat this boss. It is recommended to bring your own tools if you are going to bank for food, since you will lose all tools aqcuired within Wintertodt upon leaving the area. Also it is recommended to wear 4 pieces of warm clothing to minimize the damage received from the cold within Wintertodt. Once you have all the supplies needed simply run north towards the doors of Dinh, left click the doors and select the first chat option.
Requirements
In order to enter the doors of Dinh and play a Wintertodt game a firemaking level of 50 or higher is required. There's no combat level restriction for Wintertodt so skillers can also join this boss. The damage taken from the boss is calculated off your hitpoints and firemaking level.
Warm equipment
In order to protect yourself from the cold of Wintertodt you can equip warm clothing. In order to maximize your protection from the cold you need 4 pieces of warm clothing. All the warm clothing obtainable is listed below:
