The Odium Ward is one of the few ranged shields in the game, it has a great ranged accuracy bonus, but has no defence bonuses against melee attacks. There are no requirements to weild the shield, so it is a great choice for pure accounts.
Obtaining the Odium Ward
Wilderness Bosses
There are two different bosses that drop the Odium Ward. These are Scorpia, and the Crazy Archaeologit. They are both found in the Wilderness which makes the shield rather difficult to obtain.
Voting Sortition Reward
An Odium Ward is a potential reward from the Voting Sortiton. However, the Odium Ward has a very low chance to be obtained. To access the Vote Sortition, you click the "Roll Sortition" button in the quest tab, it can be found under the "Luck games" title.
