Introduction
This is the Target System guide made to help players with the possibilities for PKing.
Reasons & Bonuses for killing targets
When a player enters the wilderness, they will soonly be assigned a target based on their wealth/risk. The wilderness interface will be displayed outside wilderness near the ditch in the top right corner. There you can also see your wealth, EP and current target.
Once you are assigned a target the purpose of this is to kill your target. Once you have killed your target, you will be rewarded with a certain amount of blood money, coins and tournament points which advance you in the PKing tournament.
How to get a target?
- You are able to recieve a target from anywhere in the wilderness.
- You can already get targets by wearing spawnable items from the ::pksupply table.
- You won't be getting a target that you skipped in the last 60 seconds.
- You won't be getting a target that you killed or died to in the previous 2 minutes.
- You won't get a target that is far away when there are people available near you.
- Players during combat can not be assigned as a target.
Your wild target assignment is speeded up based on the amount of players near, each player nearby will improve the speed by 5x.
You won't lose EP at wilderness when teleporting out when your target has left or is leaving the wilderness.
Once you get a target you can teleport to your target by right clicking the skull in the top right corner of your interface.
You will need 1 Chaos Rune, 1 Law Rune and 1 Death rune to do this.
Skipping a target
You can skip your target if you don't feel like fighting them.
You can use the ::skip command to skip your current target, there is a 10 second timer before you can skip your target.
You can also skip a target by right clicking the skull in the top right corner of your interface, same way as locating a target.
Skipping a target will trigger the penalty system, and after skipping your target 5 times, you will recieve a penalty. Once a player has been given a penalty, you have to wait 10 minutes to get a new target.
Player Killing Tournament
If you were to participate in the PKing tournament, you have a chance at earning some promising money. Below you can find the PKing tournament rewards.
The player who ends first will receive Eva's Longsword. This sword allows you to imbue any weapon to it. You will not lose your chosen weapon, as it will remain in your inventory after you imbue it to Eva's Sword. Eva's Sword is a single handed weapon, meaning you can imbue a maul or a 2H weapon allowing the sword to be extra overpowered.
The player who ends second will receive Eva's shield. Samewise as with the sword this shield allows you to imbue any shield to it. You will not lose your chosen shield, as it will remain in your inventory after you imbue it to the Eva's Shield.
To view your tournament status type ::tournament or go to Quest Tab > Help Desk > Scores > Tournament.
PK Reward Pot
Players are able to donate coins to the PK reward pot at donation well.
You will gain an amount taken from the pot for every kill. The reward is capped to 5m coins, that way you will receive great rewards and the PK Reward pot will take longer to dry out.
The rewards will only be given upon target kills:
- Base reward is pot value divided by 50.
- White skull is pot value divided by 45.
- Black skull is pot value divided by 40.
- Red skull is pot value divided by 30.
In example : Pot value = 100.000.000 Base Reward = 100M / 50 = 2M coins per kill.
You can check the current pot and base reward at information tab.
