Nex

It's strongly advised to come prepared and with a big team to face Nex! I personally consider impossible to solo it! As Nex was intended to work very alike RS version from june-2012

Location

In order to go to Nex lair you may just type ::nex or use Bosses teleport.

Fighting Strategy

Smoke Phase: Pray Protection from Magic during this phase.

This phase can be very annoying if you don't get through it quick. Nex can stun you, and your prot mage prayer may be knocked off.

What nex can do during this phase:

When Nex says "Let the virus flow through you!" if you get infected by the virus your player will say "*cough*", and nearby players will get infected and knock their Protection prayer off.

Suggestion: Don't stand next to your teammates while infected by the virus.

When Nex says "There is... NO ESCAPE!" She will fly starting from the North path, and ending in the South path. Dealing a lot of melee damage to the players in her way.

Suggestion: Stay in the East, and West paths during this phase.

Nex can also draw you in towards her which stuns you. You will not be able to drink any potion/move/eat any food.

Suggestion: Keep high health during this phase.

Shadow Phase: Pray Protection from Range during this phase.

When Nex says "Fear the Shadow!" she will send Shadow traps towards every player.

Suggestion: When you see a shadow underneath you.. move a square over.

During this phase your screen will darken. It will be darker the close you are to Nex

Suggestion: Keep a good distance from Nex

Blood Phase: Pray Protection from Magic during this phase.

When Nex says "A Siphon will solve this!" or "I demand a blood sacrifice!" A player will turn red, and Nex will summon 3 Blood Reavers. Also for the first 8 seconds after she said "A Siphon will solve this!" or "I demand a blood sacrifice!" any damage dealt to Nex will heal her.

Suggestion: Do not attack Nex for the first 8 seconds after her says her commands. Kill all the Blood Reavers, then attack Nex. If you have 5+ people, you can sometimes push past this phase without having to kill the Blood reavers.

Ice Phase: Pray Protection from Magic during this phase.

When Nex says "Die now, in a prison of ice!" She freeze her targeted players in an ice stalagmite cage. Players will be trapped in unless a player "attacks stalagmite" and frees them or player will wait til the ice cage disappears.

Suggestion: Heal up

When Nex says "Contain this!" nex will create an ice barrier dealing damage to players and knocking off their protection prayers. Players will be trapped inside the ice barrier til it disappears or teammates set them free

Suggestion: Heal up, and try to put your protection from magic prayer back on

The Final Phase: Zaros Phase Pray Protection from Magic during this phase.

When this phase starts Nex will say "NOW, THE POWER OF ZAROS!" she will heal up almost 1/4 of her health. She will alternate between Melee Deflect prayer, and Turmoil prayer.

During this phase Nex will knock off your Protection prayers.

Suggestion: Heal up, and turn back on when possible

When Nex dies she will pray Wrath pray and deal damage to nearby players.

Suggestion: Run away from it, or tank it.

Gear & Inventory

In order to face Nex you can try out this inventory with a familiar full of Saradomin brews. (Since it's easy to come back, there's no need to bring lots of super restores to stay more than 1 trip)
