Introduction

Below is a guide showing and explaining all ranks on our forums.

Staff Ranks

There are two different kinds of Staff Members. One kind is forum based, while the other is In-Game based. Below in different sections, both kinds are shown, and explained to keep confusion to a minimum.

Owner:
The only person with this rank will be the owner of the game and the forums.
He/She deals with donations, and pays for game development, updates and general maintenance.

Co-Owner:
The Co-Owner of the game and forums will be the only one wearing this crown.
His/Her job is to administrate the forums and in-game, moderate, while also managing the staff team.

Programmer:
People with this rank are Grinderscape programmers.
Like developers, they make updates for the game, and making sure everything concerning the game goes smoothly.

Forum Staff

: Forum Administrator
People with this rank administrate the Forums.
They keep an eye on players and staff, both in the forum shoutbox and on the forums themselves, making sure they don't get out of hand.

Global Moderator:
The ones with this crown are Global Moderators.
Global Moderators are the ones moderating both the shoutbox and the forum sections, keeping an eye on players, and giving infractions where they are due, they also have moderator rights in all sections.

Sectional Moderator
The Sectional Moderators moderate the shoutbox and some sections they're assigned to. He can hand infractions, like the Global Moderator.

Shoutbox Moderator:
On the forums, the ones with this title are Shoutbox Moderators.
Shoutbox Moderators are members of the staff team that patrol the forum shoutbox, making sure players don't get out of hand and break rules.

Web Developer
The Web Developer has full access to the forum and administration tools, he can change, edit, update and moderate users in the forum.

In-Game Staff

In-Game Administrator:
The ones with this rank on the forums are In-Game Administrators.
In-game Administrators, like forum Administrators, administrate the game, keeping an eye on staff and players alike, and help manage the staff team with the Co-Owner.

Elite Moderator:
Elite Moderator are former in-Game Moderators who have proven their ability to perform tasks to benefit the community and server as a whole..
They have the same permissions as In-Game Moderators, except with two extra commands: Host Ban and Host Mute.

In-Game Moderator:
In-Game Moderators are people that play the game, while also making sure nobody breaks the rules.
Unlike server support, they have full Moderator commands, with the ability to mute/jail/ban someone for an unlimited amount of time.

Server Support:
Server support members are players with limited commands.
They have the ability to jail and mute players for the maximum of 24 hours.
Their job is to help In-Game Moderators with problematic players and rule breakers.

Developer:
The ones wearing this crown and userbar are Grinderscape developers. They are the ones making updates, and giving the game its maintenance.

Non-Staff Ranks

Here ranks are listed that do not make the wearer a part of the staff team. There are two different kinds of these ranks; ones you can donate for, and ones that are earned. Below both kinds are shown and explained in detail.

Earned Ranks

Wiki Editor:
People with this rank have Administrator rights in the GrinderScape Wiki, he can edit, delete and add pages in the wiki. The Wiki Editors are chosen by the Wiki team based on experience, knowledge and dedication to the server. For more informations click Here
Userbar:

Respected:
Players with this rank have shown the community that they are respectable players.
This rank is earned when a forum staff member nominates you for the rank, and lets the community decide whether or not you are deserving of it.

Veteran:
This rank is given to you when you have been a member of the forums and an active one at that, for a minimum of 3 years.
If you are to become inactive without leaving a reason for it, your rank will be removed.

Veteran Staff:
This rank given to those who have spent an accumulative time of at least two years on the Forum or In-Game Staff Team. It's also important to note that the rank will be kept even after its recipient has resigned because of how hard the rank is to achieve.

Contributor:
This rank is given to those members who go out of their way to improve the Forums and Grinderscape in general in any way possible.

Video Maker:
This rank is given to those who put in effort to make videos for our server, and do so at least semi-frequently.

Signature of the Week:
The signature of the week is an event/activity members partake in by entering their own creations of designs following a specific guideline and series of rules. There are signature of the week contests every week, people get to vote on the winners and lots of fun is created out of this.

Gfx Designer:
The designer rank is given to those that make signatures and other works for the community.

Content Designer:
A rank for those who help develop new content to the game. This includes, but is not limited to: doing research, gathering information, creating interfaces and making suggestions (in other words, making the developer's life easier). This rank is given to users only by Pb600, the developer.

Event host:
The event host rank is given to members who are a part of the event team and help out by hosting in game and forum events. If you would like to know more click here.

Bug Tester:
This rank is given to players who are experienced with programming and modify the usual game behavior in order to spot bugs and find solutions to fix them. This rank is given by only Pb600.

MOTM:
The MOTM rank is given to the member of the month, that is decided through a monthly poll.

Ex-Owner:
This rank will be given to our Owner, 3lou 55, if he ever resigns.

Ex-Prog:
This rank is given when one of our Programmers decide to leave.
Userbar:

Ex-Dev:
This rank is given when someone from the development team decides to resign or his rank as developer is taken away.

Ex-Admin:
This rank is given when an Administrator has resigned or got demoted, we give this rank to show how grateful we are with the work and time they've spent moderating for GrinderScape.

Ex-Global:
This rank is given when a Global Moderator (A.K.A. Forum Moderator on all sections) has resigned or got demoted, we give this rank to show how grateful we are with the work and time they've spent moderating for GrinderScape forums.

Ex-IGA:
IGA means for In-Game Administrator, this rank is given to people who used to be Administrator In-Game.

Ex-IGM:
IGM stands for In-Game Moderator, this rank is given to people who used to be a In-Game Moderator.

Ex-Support:
This rank is given to people who used to be Server Supporters, this rank will be given as long as they complete their 2 weeks trial.

Ex-SB Mod:
This rank is given to people that used to be Shoutbox Moderators because they have resigned or got demoted.

Ex-Co Owner:
This rank is given to people who used to be a Co-Owner of GrinderScape, for example, Soccerlove.

Ex-Sectional:
This rank is given to people who used to be a Sectional Moderator on GrinderScape's Forum, they no longer have any rights on the sections they used to moderate.

Donator Ranks

Donator:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server's forums.

Super Donator:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server's forums.
Userbar:

Super Pink Donator:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server's forums.

Yellow Party Hat:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server for this specific rank.
Userbar:

Purple Party Hat:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server for this specific rank.

Green Party Hat:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server for this specific rank.

Red Party Hat:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server for this specific rank.

Blue Party Hat:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server for this specific rank.

Green Dollar Sign:
This rank is given to those that have donated to the server for this specific rank.

Dicer Rank:
Dicer rank is the only rank you donate for that gives you a rank on forums and in-game.
This rank is given to those players that donate for the ability to host dice games in the game.

Post Count Ranks

These ranks are earned by posting a certain amount of posts. The userbars and ranks are awarded in this order:

As you can see, it shows the amount of posts needed for each userbar on the bar itself.
