Located in the southern side of Etherum, Al Kharid is mostly known for its sandy environment. Players do not visit the main city often, as it has little to do here. The biggest attraction of this place is the Duel Arena, which is used by players to gamble their items against other players.

Getting There
There are plenty of ways to access Al Kharid.
Click on the world map icon in the top right corner of the screen.
From here select 'Cities' as the category, and then select 'Al Kharid', this will take you right outside the bank.
Another option is to Select the 'Combat Training' category and then select 'Al Kharid warriors', this will take you to the palace in the center of the city.
You can teleport directly to the Duel Arena by using the ::duel command.
Notable Features
Crashed Star Locations
Al Kharid serves as one of the places where Shooting Stars may land.
These are the four possible locations that stars will crash in the city:
Duel Arena
The Duel Arena is a place where gamblers like to go. Here you can place bets against other players, and then fight to see who wins. Be careful not to lose your bank. You can type ::duel to teleport here quickly.
Entrance to Kalphite Lair
The Entrance of the Kalphite Lair can be found directly north of the palace entrance. To enter the lair, you will need to use a rope on this hole. If you are wanting to kill smaller kalphites without worrying about being attacked by the Kalphite queen, this is the fastest way to access them.
NPC's
There are a few attackable NPC's in the Al Kharid area. These are:
Image | Name | Level | Health | Amount |
---|---|---|---|---|
Al-kharid warrior | 9 | 19 | 12 | |
Desert strykwyrm | 130 | 110 | 8 | |
Scorpion | 14 | 17 | 2 | |
Shanty guard | 22 | 32 | 1 | |
Spider | 1 | 2 | 1 |
Shops
General Store
To the east of the palace you can find a General store, This can be handy if you are going to the Kalphite Lair and forgot to bring a rope, as they are always in stock, but apart from this case, there is little reason to visit the store from here.
Shanty Store
At the Shanty Pass, you can find an NPC named "Shanty" who runs the Shanty store. The only things sold at this store are Desert Clothing.
Teletab Store
The Teletab store is located directly north of the palace. You can access this store by trading "Zeke". The only thing this shop sells are teletabs. The same store is also located in Edgeville which is much more convenient for players.
