The Chaotic Shield is one of the strongest melee shields in the game, it has great defencive bonuses against ranged and melee attacks, but is easily beaten by magic based attacks. The biggest downside to the shield is that like the chaotic weapons, it too degrades. However, the shield degrades after a certain amount of damage has been taken, rather than the amount of times it has been hit. The Chaotic Shield in not used very often as there are plenty of stronger, non-degradable shields that take its place.
The Chaotic Shield requires a level of at least 80 Defence in order to equip.
Obtaining the Chaotic Shield
PvM
The only way to obtain a Chaotic Shield is by recieving it as a drop from the Black Knight Titan boss.
Repairing your Chaotic Shield
Once a Chaotic item breaks, it will have to be repaired on the supply table found in the Edgeville Bank, this will cost cost 10k per charge used, for example 16% used will cost 160k to repair.
You can also use two of the same Chaotic Items on one another. However, this will destroy one of the Chaotics, while fully repairing the other, which is much more costly than repairing the weapon at the table.
