Alchemical Hydra
The Alchemical Hydra is a five headed hydra with a combat level of 428. The boss has four different phases and will have different type of special attacks in each phase. Level 95 slayer is required to enter and attack the Alchemical Hydra.
The Alchemical Hydra uses both ranged and magic to attack players. It changes its attack style every three attacks, whether if they hit or not. Both these attacks can be fully negated by using Deflect Missiles and Deflect Magic prayers. After every nine normal attacks, the Alchemical Hydra will perform a special attack.
The Alchemical Hydra has a heavy damage reduction in the first three phases. The damage reduction can be removed by having chemical sprayed on the boss - which happens when the boss stands on top of the pools. Read below for more information.
How to get there
You can get to the Alchemical Hydra by using the teleport interface (which can be accessed by pressing CTRL + T on your keyboard or by clicking on the world map in-game).
This will teleport you outside of the Alchemical Hydra's lair.
Once inside, the player can not exit through the door. Only teleporting out or dying will allow the player to leave the lair.
Instance
Alchemical Hydra is an instanced boss. Unlike the instanced boss Vorkath, this boss does not require the player to create a new instance every kill. It has a respawn timer of 20 seconds.

Strategies
The Alchemical Hydra has four phases: poison, lightning, flame and enraged. The Alchemical Hydra begins with the poison phase. A new phase will commence every 275 damage the boss has taken (or 25% of it's total health), similar to the boss Nex.
At the start of each phase, the Alchemical Hydra will have a 75% damage reduction to all weapons and a 50% damage boost in first two phases. The damage reduction and damage boost can be removed by luring the boss over one of the chemical pools on the floor. If the Hydra is lured over the wrong chemical pool, the attack damage will be increased instead.
The Alchemical Hydra will attack with both Ranged and Magic: the attack style will change after every three normal attacks and after every nine normal attacks the Alchemical Hydra will perform a special attack. The normal attacks can be fully negated if the player is switching the prayers correctly.
Poison phase
This is the first phase of the Alchemical Hydra. The boss will have 5 heads and green skin during this phase. The 5-headed green Hydra has to be lured to the red chemical pool to remove its damage reduction and damage boost.
After the first three normal attacks, the Alchemical Hydra will throw poison blobs around the player's location will deal up to 12 damage per tick when standing on them.
Lightning phase
The Alchemical Hydra will have 4 heads and a blue skin during this phase. The 4-headed Hydra has to be lured to the green chemical pool to remove its damage reduction and damage boost.
During this phase, the Hydra will launch lighting projectiles across the room. When the players get hit by the lighting, they will be temporarily paralyzed and the following message will appear in the chatbox:
When the 4-headed Hydra reaches 550 hitpoints (or 50% of its total health), it will lose one of its heads and the next phase will start.
Flame phase
The 3-headed red skin Alchemical Hydra will need to be lured over the blue chemical pool to remove its damage reduction and damage boost.
During this phase the Hydra will, as its special attack, stun the player and walk to the center of the chamber. Once it has reached the center, the Hydra will breathe layers of fire on both sides of the player and a tracking fire. The tracking fire will follow the player's movement and will do up to 20 damage if the player does not dodge it. The damage can be avoided by walking/running around. The Hydra will start attacking normally again 10 seconds after it launches the tracking fire.
When the 3-headed Hydra reaches 275 hitpoints (or 25% of its total health), it will lose one of its heads and the next phase will start.
Enraged phase
The 2-headed Hydra will have grey skin during this phase and will not have any damage reduction (thus does not need to be lured over any chemical pool).
During the enraged phase, the 2-headed grey Hydra will change attack styles after every attack. The special attack from the poison phase (poison blobs) will also be used during this last phase. It is recommended to continuously switch prayers during this phase.
